officially opened on February 28, 1922, under the supervision of
Rev. Brouillet, a missionary priest from Stanstead, PQ. On
March 5, 1922, a house purchased for $800.00 from Mr. Henry L.
Church was converted into a small chapel for Sunday mass.
On July 3, 1946, St. Benedict Mission became a mission of St.
